But in other side, i guess for browsing net with a big screen without Flash player support, iPad is ok! still i want to see Hulu.com and not to give money to iTune store for buying media/video contents from iTune.

The lock option for is a good work-around – agreed. I think, though, that Apple has a flaw in the algorithm. If I move from a somewhat not-flat position and then to a mostly-flat position, then I would expect that the previous orientation should stay the same.

Sure, the iPhone apps look different on the iPad, but the physical dimensions of the screen, as well as the resolution are different, and even usage patterns are different, so it makes sense to make new UI designs for the iPad.

But the next gen iPhone will require zero changes to existing iPhone apps.

I think it is one the coolest productivity apps out there – my husband has it on his iPhone, and I have a blackberry.

“Blind Control” might still have political correctness issues, so maybe something like “Lights Out Control”, “Lights Off Control”, or “Dark Control”?

How long did people misinterpret ‘gay’ as ‘happy’ for after society began commonly using it to describe something else? Let’s not kid ourselves, there are or will soon be enough touch-sensitive phones to redefine a term by it’s mere usage within that context.

One consideration would be accidental input detection when rubbing and bumping into things whilst in grope detection mode, whether in your pocket or a handbag. Locking and unlocking would ideally not be necessary to perform after each grope.
