Extending Beyond the Browser

Elegant Words will expand as a native application for the iPhone.  This will mean fast dictionary look-ups even when not connected to the network.  This will also improve the battery life when using the phone since wireless access is a friend to our batteries.  Look for additional features that let you refine Elegant Words so that you'll want to use it as your life-long dictionary.

Also look for a checklist tool and note-taking tool.

Over the coming months you can expect several upgrades to Elegant Content in terms of both functionality and usability. Mobility We believe that mobile computing is part of the future of technology. We don't think that it will replace traditional computers, but instead will supplement both the traditional desktop computer and the traditional Web site. We are actively researching and developing ways to extend our application to play nicely with your iPhone, Treo, and Blackberry. Expect to write to and read from Elegant Content directly on your iPhone.  We are actively developing extensions to our online applications for the desktop. Expect, among other things, to be able to write for Elegant Content from a Mac widget, Safari, and the iPhone.

Extending to Many Management Tools

We're starting with Elegant Content, a tool for writing online books and similar documents that share the book-style layout. We want to provide other tools for managers, busy professionals, and technically inclined individuals so that they can spend more time upon the task at-hand and less time coordinating, tracking, or book-keeping.

Elegant Checklist will let people manage and share checklists, as well as fill them, archive them, annotate them, etc. Of course, for groups that depend upon checklist adherence for survival, then appropriate dashboards and notification mechanism for accompany the checklists. The checklist on the website will also show up on your iPhone.

Elegant Policy will let you easily create and disseminate policies or procedures to a group of people. Instead of having to keep a policy notebooks with signatures of all employees, simply tell the system which group of people must comply with a particular new policy. They will all receive an e-mail notifying them of the new procedure and get a link to quickly read and acknowledge it. You and other managers can quickly determine your group's compliance status, quickly seeing which percentage of people have acknowledged the policy. Individuals will automatically receive follow-up reminders.

Elegant Decisions will facilitate complex decision making by subject matter experts.

Elegant Project will provide multiple project management tools, from small micro-projects for yourself, small-team management, and up to larger mission-critical tasks. Small projects can be promoted to more complex ones, keeping overhead to a minimum. Elegant Website will integrate website management in with Elegant Content.

Although Elegant Content has been tested with books greater than 400 pages, we'd like true elephantine tombs.

Extending from Consumer Security to Military Grade Security

Although the Elegant Technologies platform is pretty secure, we'd like to confidently meet financial information, Sarbanes-Oxley information, and HIPPA needs.
